Focus and Scope
The Architecture and Engineering journal is an international peer-reviewed scientific periodical, which welcomes publication of the achieved scientific results not only by Russian scientists, but also by representatives of the international scientific community.

The purpose and mission of our journal is to publish high scientific level articles for a wide range of readers.
Only original articles of international importance are published in the journal. The main objectives of the international scientific journal Architecture and Engineering are as follows:
- Information exchange and dissemination of research results and achievements and other innovations in technical areas;
- Expanding opportunities for indexing scientific publications in key Russian and international citation databases.

Peer Review Process
Articles submitted to the journal undergo a double blind peer-review procedure, which means that the reviewer is not informed about the identity of the author of the article, and the author is not given information about the reviewer. On average, the review process takes from one to five months. Duties and rights of authors and reviewers are listed in the ethical standards of the Architecture and Engineering journal.
Publication Frequency
The journal is published electronically at 4 issues per year (March, June, September, December).
Open Access Policy
The journal provides direct open access to its content based on the following principle: free open access to research results contributes to increased global knowledge sharing.
Archiving
The journal uses LOCKSS to create a distributed archive system among participating libraries and allows these libraries to create permanent journal archives for preservation and recovery purposes. More...
Submission rules for pre-prints and post-prints
Prior to acceptance and publication in Architecture and Engineering, authors may make their submissions available as preprints on personal or public websites.
When submitting an article, the author needs to confirm that the article has not been published or accepted for publication in another scientific journal. When citing an article published in the Architecture and Engineering journal, the publisher asks to place a link (full URL of the material) to the official website of the journal.

In the context of Open Access, a pre-print is a draft of an academic article or other publication before it has been submitted for peer-review or other quality assurance procedure as part of the publication process. Academic Publications Ethics
By submitting an article to the journal, the author confirms that it has not previously been published in the open press nor is under consideration in another publication. The author guarantees that the publication of the article in this form has been approved by all authors and the organization where the work was carried out. Once the article has been accepted, the author guarantees that it will not be republished in any language without the publisher’s written consent. The author also confirms that he/she has read and agrees with the ethical norms of the journal and publication rules.
All articles without exception are published in the public domain. Texts as well as metadata of articles (title, abstract, keywords, and author data) are transferred to various databases and digital libraries.
