Stergios Mitoulis

Qualifications: MEng, MSc, PhD, M.ASCE, EAEE, FHEA.

Dr Stergios Mitoulis graduated with a 5-year Diploma in Structural Engineering in 2002 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He subsequently received an MSc in Earthquake resistant design of structures in 2003 and a PhD on Bridge Engineering in 2008 with distinction from the same University. He continued with a 2-year postdoctoral research fully funded by the Research Excellence Framework.

He has authored 23 journal papers and more than 50 conference papers and three book chapters on bridge engineering, seismic isolation, resilient-based design of structures and use of recycled material in structures.

Dr S Mitoulis has a wide network of academics, research institutes and industrial partners.
