Evangelia Loukogeorgaki

Loukogeorgaki works at the Division of Hydraulics and Environmental Engineering. She is engaged in research activity in the field of marine structures. Her main research interests include fluid-structure interaction, ocean engineering, offshore structures  for various applications, hydroelastic analysis of floating structures, mooring systems, coastal structures for protection in the sea environment risk assessment of marine structures, spatial planning of offshore renewable energy technologies, optimization methods, structural health monitoring of marine structures.
She was participant in over dozen research projects funded by national and international sources.

She is the author of more than 15 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, about 30 publications in international conferences and co-author of one book chapter. She is Member of the International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE), Member of the Hellenic Hydrotechnical Association (HHA);  Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece - Registered Professional Engineer in Greece;  Member of the Technical Committee of the Annual Conference of the International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers (ISOPE) and others.
