Andrew Gale

Professor, head of project research.
His academic and research interests include strategic planning for infrastructure, people and organizations, and project processes in art and design projects.

At Manchester he was the leader of the Management of Projects Research Group and founding academic for the MSc Project Management Professional Development Program (PMPDP), a flexible modular program led by an industrial consortium comprising Rolls-Royce, AMEC, AEC, Sellafield, E.on, and others. He was the academic lead in the UoM for the British University in Dubai (BUiD) Partnership.

He is a past member of the Senate of BUiD and for nine years was Co-Vice-Chair of the Global Accreditation Center. Project Management Institute in the United States. He is Visiting Professor to the School of Engineering and Built Environment, Glasgow Caledonian University and past member of the Nuclear Industry Council Trade and Investment Working Group.
He is currently External Examiner for the MSc Project Management program at Lancaster University Management School.
